Can’t find an item

Not able to find an item you’re looking for in our inventory? Here are a couple of things to try.

Use the search box on the website. Sometimes searching for one keyword (for example: searching for “watermelon” instead of “watermelon slices”) can help. If the product you are looking for contains a special character (for example: É,Í,Ñ,Ó) try spelling its name with or without the special characters. (for example: searching for “cafe” instead of “café”)

How to place an order

You can either search for a specific item or browse by department. 

Add items to your cart by selecting +Add or Add to Cart. You can also adjust the item quantity by using the “+” or “-” buttons.

You can review your cart while shopping by selecting the “Basket” button. Here, you can see your item total, adjust quantities, or remove items from your cart. 

When you’re ready to checkout, visit your “Basket” and select the “Proceed to Checkout” button. You’ll need to add your billing information and select the store you wish to place your order to, keep in mind this is an in-store pickup service. Then, click the “Next Step” button where you will be prompted to select the day you wish to pick your order up as well as the time. After filling out this information select the “Next Step” button. In this phase you will be asked to fill out your payment information and proceed to place your order.

How do I add instructions for specific items or replacements?

Select the item you wish to add special instructions or replacements to. Once on the individual item’s page, look for the “Customer specific substitution” heading located under the “Add to Cart” button, once located you will see a drop down menu where you may select what you want to be done (for example: “Call Me” or “Any Brand Will Do” . The “Special Instructions” text box is located under the “Customer specific substitution” drop down, here you may write your specific instructions for products.

Delivery

We do not offer delivery services, only in-store pickup.

Refunds and Returns
  • No refunds or returns for beer, wine or cigarettes.
  • No refunds or returns after 24 hours for meat, seafood, dairy, frozen or produce.
  • For all other items, refunds or returns may be requested within 7 days of purchase.
  • Refunds and returns will only be processed with a receipt.
  • No receipt, no refund or return. 
Food safety

Food safety and quality is our top priority. All shoppers are well-equipped with knowledge to make sure your food is properly picked and maintained at all stages of the shopping process.

Educating shoppers on food safety

Supermercados El Bodegón helps prepare shoppers to safely handle food with an interactive food safety walkthrough, shopper food safety requirements, and best practices guides. Shoppers learn to look for the freshest possible items and pay special attention to expiration dates, broken seals, and the quality of fresh produce.

Storing food properly

Insulated bags and coolers may be used to make sure your items stay at the appropriate temperature while you pick them up.

In-store promotions

All promotions available in-store may be available online and are valid during the same time period as in-store promotions. In-store promotion terms may apply to online promotions.
